There are many free programs [and paid programs] that will try and remove this bad software but usually these do not work completely. For years I had been using AVG because it is free and people are reported to like it. Still, AVG didn’t give me everything that I needed as some trojans stayed on my computer [though, unbeknownst to me]. So anyway, I tried out the free version of malwarebytes and it found aprox 10 virus which I had not been able to find with AVG. Granted the free version of malwarebytes doesn’t do everything but usually it is “good enough”.
